Holgate Meadows Community School (HMCS)

Holgate Meadows Community Special School provides for Behavioural Emotional and Social Difficulties pupils aged 7-16. We are situated in the North of Sheffield, in the Parson Cross area, and we are proud of our strong links with our community and supporting agencies.

We deliver a personalised curriculum focused on learner need and overcoming the complex barriers to learning presented by SEN and LDD. Our key purpose is learning. Our curriculum aims to challenge and inspire and is committed to excellence and achievement. The learner is central to the curriculum combines rich learning experiences, early intervention, positive behaviour management and mental health support.

Welcome to our website which is a showcase for the many and varied achievements of our pupils. We are a school with a culture of success.
Mr Middleton, Headmaster

We work in partnership with the children’s charity Barnado’s to provide support for our pupils and families. We work in partnership with local Primary and Secondary schools to provide inreach and outreach support and we are committed to strengthening these links. We provide a full extended school menu during the week and are building increased capacity for delivery at weekends and holidays.
